Mbed Enabled Platform

The Mbed Enabled Platform is based on Arm® Mbed™ OS 5, it supports multiple standard network and encryption protocols, such as CoAP protocol. The Mbed Enabled Platform can be connected with Mbed™ Cloud to manage LWM2M device and update online firmware consistently. It is a complete IoT platform from end point to cloud. The Mbed Enabled Platform is the perfect solution for makers to create various types of customized sensor applications.

The Mbed Enabled platform also supports the common Arduino interface, allows users to quickly add sensors and wireless modules for device prototyping. Nuvoton offers four kinds of development platforms for users, including NuMaker IoT-M487, NuMaker PFM-M487, NuMaker PFM-NUC472, NuMaker PFM-M453, and NuMaker PFM-Nano130.

   NuMaker-IoT-M487-1  

The NuMaker IoT-M487 is based on the NuMicro® M487 Ethernet series MCU with Cortex®-M4F core. The 512 KB embedded dual bank Flash memory supports OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware upgrade, and the 160 KB embedded SRAM includes 32 KB cache to speed up external SPI Flash code execution. It is a powerful development platform ideal for IoT application. Its system frequency is up to 192 MHz, and is equipped with security, communication and device management modules. Supported functions include RJ45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi module, 9-axis motion sensor, high speed USB OTG, full speed USB OTG, MicroSD card interface, etc. And also support Arduino, mikroBUS, and other expansion interfaces.

       
 

 NuMaker-PFM-M487_V2.0(Mbed)

 

The NuMaker PFM-M487 is based on the NuMicro® M487 Ethernet series MCU with Cortex®-M4F core. The 512 KB embedded dual bank Flash memory supports OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware upgrade, and the 160 KB embedded SRAM includes 32 KB cache to speed up external SPI Flash code execution.   NuMaker-PFM-Nano130 (Mbed Enable)  

The NuMaker PFM-NANO130 is based on Nuvoton low-power MCU named as NANO130 with Arm® Cortex®-M0 core, the CPU clock is up to 42MHz, embedded with 128 KB Flash and 16KB SRAM.

       
  NuMaker-PFM-M2351_V1.3(修)  

The NuMaker-PFM-M2351 is a development board based on NuMicro®-M2351 microcontroller. Nuvoton NuMicro® M2351 secure microcontroller series is empowered by Arm® Cortex®-M23 core with TrustZone® for Armv8-M architecture, which elevates the traditional firmware security to the new level of robust software security.

These M2351 microcontrollers with low-power running up to 64 MHz frequency with up to 512 K-bytes embedded flash memory in dual bank mode supporting secure OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware update and up to 96 K-bytes embedded SRAM. Furthermore, the M2351 series also provides high-performance connectivity peripheral interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, GPIOs, USB and ISO 7816-3 for the smart card reader. Its secure and low-power features strengthen the innovation of IoT security.

 

The Mbed Enabled Platform cloud Solution: Nuvoton Mbed Enabled Platform is running Mbed™ OS v5, supported cloud clients connect to cloud services, such as Mbed ™ Cloud, Amazon Web Service IoT (AWS IoT), etc. 

Mbed™ Cloud

Arm Mbed™ Cloud provides device deployment and management, also transfer data from a device to cloud for further analysis and processing. These devices connect to Mbed™ Cloud in a consistent manner, regardless of the backend cloud service provider. 

Amazon Web Service IoT

Nuvoton Mbed Enabled platform also provides MQTT protocol which supports the connection to AWS IoT service. With AWS services for storing and analyzing data, it can also use artificial intelligence-related training and inference to make the device intelligent. Nuvoton continues to utilize MCU features and various web services to provide more application examples.
